Do 2^3 first. It is isolated on one side of a set of the + sign.
{8 + [4*(10 - 6)]} / 3 Next do the innermost
{8 + [4*4]} / 3 Do what's in the square brackets.
{8 + 16} / 3
24/3 Divide by 3
The answer is 8
