x+6 /3 = 2+x-2/5

x+6 is a fraction so it's the numerator and the 3 is underneath
same with the right side, x-2 is the numerator and 5 is denominator. help please, i know the answer but I don't know how to get it

We can treat this problem like you regularly subtract fractions. First find the common denominator, which is 15.

So:

5(x+6)/15 = 30/15 + 3(x-2)/15

(5x+6)/15 - (30/15) - (3x - 6)/15


As you already know the answer, I'm assuming you can do the rest.
