ok so to write an argumentative essay you first have to choose a side and in this topic i would be for it because controlled burning kills off dead and dry and decaying undergrowth and the ash leftover adds nutrients to the soil so

do research about the side you have chosen to write for

start writing tell the reader why your side is the one to be chosen

write your body paragraphs
step 5
write your conclusion refer back to the body paragraphs restate statements made in them that will push your point
