Hey there Ms or Mr could you please help me out with this problem? just a heads up, this is my homework assignment and I'm learning about Trig ratios.

As we know that according to tignometric ratios:
[tex]\begin{gathered} \sin x=\frac{perpendicular}{\text{hypotaneous}} \\ \cos x=\frac{base}{\text{hypotaneous}} \end{gathered}[/tex]So according to given diagram we are taking angle A:
So according to angle A
Perpendicular = BC= 8cm
Base = AC=15 cm
Hypotaneous= AB=17cm
Now
[tex]\begin{gathered} \sin A=\frac{8}{17} \\ \cos A=\frac{15}{17} \end{gathered}[/tex]So the option B is correct.
