Addy is making two different recipies for the school bake sale. The brownie recipie calls for 2/3 cups of milk and the cut out cookie recipie calls for 3/4 cup of milk. How much total milk will Addy need to make both her recipies?

you just got to sum up the two fractions.

[tex]\frac{2}{3} +\frac{3}{4}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{8}{12} + \frac{9}{12}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{17}{12}[/tex]

she will need 17/12 cups of milk
