EX- During World War I propaganda to convince people to join the war was spread everywhere throughout the United States.
Disarmament- The withdrawal of military forces.
EX- At the end of the war disarmament between the two nations began.
Appeasement-diplomatic policy of making political or material concessions to an aggressive power in order to avoid conflict.
EX- The many attempts at appeasement were ultimately unsuccessful and eventually the two countries had no choice but to go to war.
