large pizza. How much could a large pizza cost? Justify your answer.

2x = 2(x - 3) + 6
2x = 2x - 6 + 6
0 = 0

There are an infinite number of solutions.
A large pizza could be $10 and a medium $7.
2(10) = 2(7) + 6
20 = 20
