11. A glucose molecule enters a cell. The concentration of glucose inside the cell is lower than the concentration of glucose outside the cell. Did the cell use ATP to get the glucose inside?

Respuesta :

Glucose is too large to pass through the membrane via simple diffusion, so it uses active transport which does require ATP. Active transport is the movement of molecules from a region of low concentration to a region of high concentration. If you need any more detail on how active transport works let me know.
