MARK BRAINLIEST

Here's something for new drivers to think about . Even an alert driver takes some time to react to a surprising situation , for instance a car slamming on the brakes in front of you , or a child running out into the street . Assuming a reaction time of 1 second that it might take a driver to hit the brakes , and knowing that there are 5,280 feet in a mile , how many feet will a car travel in one second at 30 miles per hour ? At 60 miles per hour ? (And know that this question only covers reaction time , not the amount of distance a car will take to stop once the brakes are applied , since no car actually " stops on a dime . ")
