Complete this Punnett square. (I'll try to upload a picture. If not, here is what the Punnett square looks like.)
___T____
___Tt____
_t__Tt__tt_
The two spaces next to the first T are blank.
The two spaces next to the Tt in the second row are blank.
The last row is filled out.

In this Punnett square, what is the ratio of homozygous to heterozygous offspring?

In the Punnett square, what percentage of the offspring are homozygous recessive?

Respuesta :

I think I understand even without the picture. I'll add a picture of the Punnett Square filled in, but what you're crossing is

Tt  x  tt (heterozygous crossed with a homozygous recessive)

The ratio you get in the end is 2 heterozygous (Tt) and 2 homozygous (tt) offspring, so the ratio is 1:1.

So the percentage of offspring that are homozygous recessive is 50%.
